Everyone has heard about Game of Thrones and almost everyone has seen this series and for those who would have managed to get through this storm, don't be afraid to take out your plaid, sit comfortably on your couch and press Play because winter is here.

But how many of you can name the three typhoon Daenerys dragons of the Targaryen House, the first of the name, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals, Queen of Rhoynar and the First Suzeraine Men of the Seven Crown and Protector of the Kingdom, Khaleesi of the Great Herbous Sea, Mother of the Dragons, The Uncooked, Mhysa (We were not sure you could give us his full name, so we left him here, at the turn of an article).

Game of Thrones is a series adapted from the books of the same name by Georges R. R. Martin, the new J. R. R. R. Tolkien, we agree with you, that's a lot of R for only two people, to believe that R rhymes with talent.

But let's not disperse any further, you are on AnimalPlanet to know what the Daenerys dragons are called and we swear to you, you will know it.

Daenerys is a member of the Targaryan family whose ancestors conquered Westeros long ago with the power of the dragon inferno. His ancestors were the first to succeed in uniting the 7 kingdoms that had always fought each other. The Targarines ruled for centuries until the advent of the Mad King, obsessed with fire, he never stopped burning anyone who upset him. He was killed by Jaime Lannister in a revolt organized by Robert Baratheon, Daenerys since childhood was forced to live in exile in the western lands until his brother married her to a Dothraki leader, the powerful Khal Drogo. To celebrate this new union, a rich merchant offers the new queen three dragon eggs as a gift, after many adventures within the Khalasar, she is led to enter a pyre with the three dragon eggs.

The fire could not burn a dragon, so she came out with her three children....

But what are the dragons of Daenerys called?

DROGON (SPOILER SEASON 8)

Appearance: He is named in honour of her late husband the Khal Drogo. He is the greatest, the strongest, the most independent of the three. It is black in appearance with reddish reflections.

DROGON
Appearance in the series: Being Daenerys' favorite, he is also the one who appears the most in the series. In season 2 in Quarth it was with Drogon that she discovered the word corresponding to the order to spit fire: "Dracarys". During season 4, it is Drogon who kills a little girl and makes the 3 dragons spend a lot of time chained in Mereen's cellars, Drogon as a good rebel child no longer obeys Daenerys and does not let himself be locked up. In season 5, Drogon rescued Daenerys from the battle of the Daznak Arena and brought him to his nest. Drogon also stood by Daenerys when she succeeded in convincing the Dothrakis army to join them. During season 7 and the attack on the Haut-jardin convoy, Drogon served as Daenerys' mount, he was wounded in the battle and Daenerys treated him. In the last episode of Season 7, with his two brothers, Drogon participates in Jon Snow's rescue beyond the wall. He appeared during the battle against the white marchers in season 8, during which he faced his brother who had become an enemy, Viserion. At the end of this episode, he is forced to flee in order to drop the dozens of spectra abounding on his body. Once the battle was over, in episode 4 he was seen flying, riding by Daenerys, accompanied by his brother, to the south. After the death of her brother and Missandei, Daenerys sent her army to attack Port-Réal, on this occasion she straddled Drogon, which burned the entire city on the orders of her mistress.

VISERION (SPOILER SEASON 8)

Appearance: It takes the name of his brother Viserys, it is golden in colour. There is a theory that the name Viserys is a name that brings bad luck to the Targaryans.

VISERION
Appearance in the series: In season 2 he is with his two brothers in the small cage in which Daenerys transports them when arriving in Qarth. During season 6 and the disappearance of Daenerys, the chained dragons let themselves starve to death, so Thyrion decided to leave them free. In season 7 with his two brothers they help Jon Snow's team in the grip of white walkers. Unfortunately, the king of the night pulled out an ice spear and threw it right into the heart of Viserion, who died instantly. Later, in the episode he was resurrected and thus became part of the king of the night's army. When you see what happened to Daenerys Viserys' brother and the dragon, you might think that the theory of the cursed name is not so crazy... During the battle of episode 3 of the eighth season, he fought against his two brothers, he disappeared when Arya killed the king of the night.

RHAEGAL (SPOILER SEASON 8)

Appearance: It is named in honour of one of Daenerys' brothers, Rhaegal, it is green, a little smaller than Drogon, we know a little less about him.

RHAEGAL
Appearance in the series: In season 2 he is with his two brothers in the small cage in which Daenerys transports them when arriving in Qarth. During season 6 and the disappearance of Daenerys, the chained dragons let themselves starve to death, so Thyrion decided to leave them free. In season 7 with his two brothers they help Jon Snow's team in the grip of white walkers. From the revelations of the last few seasons, it is safe to assume that Jon Snow will be the one who can ride Rhaegal, so there is a good chance that he will have a more important role in the war to follow. The two remaining brothers mourn Viserion's death. At the beginning of season 8, Jonh Snow managed to ride him, he would be his horse during the battle against the white walkers. During this battle, alongside Drogon, he faced Viseryon, he would emerge from this battle slightly wounded in the wings. After the battle, he headed south with his Drogon and the rest of Daenerys' army, during an ambush by Euron Greyjoy, he was pierced with several arrows and fell inanimate into the sea, dead...
